A fan of both pure absurdism and biting political and religious satire, writer and comedian Larry Fulford feels most grounded tiptoeing a tightrope between the two.
Originally from Orlando, FL, now in Chicago, Fulford has shared stages with the likes of Brian Posehn, Nick Thune, Kyle Kinane, Creed Bratton (The Office), and Jay Chandrasekhar (Broken Lizard), appeared at the Altercation Comedy Festival, Oak City Comedy Festival, Memphis Comedy Festival, Orlando Indie Comedy Festival, and Cape Fear Comedy Festival, and books his own tours whenever possible, occasionally with Alex Luchun in their two-man show, Life’s a Gift.
He’s also contributed humor pieces to Men’s Health online and Orlando Weekly, had tweets shared by Playboy and Uproxx, and amassed a collection of original screenplays he would love to turn into moving pictures someday.
In 2015, he self-published Perfect Sleeping Weather, a collection of not funny poetry.
Prior to and during his segue into stand-up, he spent a good portion of his life behind a drum kit and appears on a few records — Holidaysburg: A Better November, Matt Woods: Manifesto, and Matt Woods: With Love from Brushy Mountain.
